The Davis Home is all ready to celebrate Easter. I’ve only been an Empty Nester since August, oh how everything changes, and oh how I treasure the time together. Not only am I an Empty Nester, my oldest daughter Hannah just married her Prince Charming, Garrett.
My collection of Easter Decor began on Hannah’s First Easter. Once Jackson and Lilly Grace were born, I love to find bunnies in three, and Robin blue eggs in three, and Easter eggs in three. Jackson loves the colors green and blue, Lilly and Hannah love the colors pastel pink, lavender, and buttercup yellow. The colors of my Easter decor have sentiment too.
As you can read and see I’m sentimental in my writing and decorating. My daughters will tell you everything I style tells a story. Interior Design in my book should be thoughtful, intentional, and represent the Home. Home is the Family.
My newest addition to my Easter collection is the dainty basket with painted songbirds and flowers in the setting of a Spring blue sky. The darling Brown, baby bunny. On an opened green tulip makes the Easter basket extra special. Mama bird is sitting happily watching over her three eggs. My favorite picture I am including is Gibson watching over the nest.
Nature is inspiring too when decorating. The orchid trees, the peach trees, the cedar trees in my front yard, and the beauty of the blue bonnets are a sonnet of Spring.
